Devante Nii Adjei Adjetey (Personal Assistant)
I have built a strong foundation of transferable skills through diverse roles in retail, healthcare, education, and logistics, and I learn quickly in new environments.
In retail, I worked both on the shop floor and in the stockroom. This taught me how to manage multiple tasks, stay organised under pressure, and communicate clearly with the public and colleagues in fast-paced settings. Accuracy and time management were essential daily.
My role in a hospital involved serving meals to patients and maintaining clean, organised ward environments. This work showed me the importance of reliability, discretion, and consistency — because people depend on you to follow through, every time.
I have also supported young people through PE in schools, including students with additional needs. This developed my confidence, empathy, and communication skills. I learned how to adapt my approach to different personalities, listen actively, and create a supportive environment — all key to working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
In a warehouse setting, I worked as part of a team using pump trucks to complete tasks efficiently and safely. This strengthened my planning, teamwork, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Across all these roles, I have developed a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and organised when priorities shift. I take pride in being dependable, proactive, and professional. I’m excited by Project Know Thyself’s mission and would value the opportunity to contribute my skills to support the team and the young people you serve.
